The Metropolitan Opera’s award-winning series of The Metropolitan Opera’s award-winning series of live movie theatre transmissions, now in its 20th anniversary season, brings world-class productions direct from the Met stage in New York to theatres nationwide. Experience thrilling performances, special interviews, and behind-the-scenes features all from the comfort of your local theatre.

The 2026–27 season features eight live opera transmissions with encore screenings each following Wednesday, three popular encores from past seasons, and a special presentation celebrating 20 years of the Met in cinemas. Tickets for the 2026–27 season will go on sale July 22.
